Overview

This is a new post for a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead a multidisciplinary team in a new crisis and intensive home treatment service for young people (12–18 years) at Sussex Partnership.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and contribute to the development of the acute care pathway and care model.
• Lead clinically as part of a multidisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Psychologists, Systemic Family Therapists and Social Workers.
• Take part in the CAMHS on‑call rota and support the Trust‑wide consultant network.

Qualifications

• Consultant Psychiatrist with NHS experience in child and adolescent mental health services.
• Evidence of previous NHS experience in a similar role for salary consideration.
