Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) Milton Keynes CAMHS seeks an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to deliver highly specialist assessments and treatment across services. You will work autonomously within professional frameworks, provide supervision and contribute to service development in a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver psychoanalytic psychotherapeutic assessments, formulate plans, and implement a range of interventions for children,

Qualifications

ACP-recognised pre-clinical training to Master's level (or equivalent).
Post-graduate doctoral-level training in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at an ACP-accredited training school.
To hold a professional registration with the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP).
Evidence of compliance with ACP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide highly specialist psychoanalytic psychotherapeutic assessments of children and young people.
Formulate and implement treatment plans across full range of care settings.
Deliver long and short term psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups.
Provide clinical and professional supervision to trainees and other professionals.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and research activities.
Offer consultation, advice and specialist expertise to colleagues and the wider professional network.
