Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a newly qualified Mental Health Nurse to join Cherry Tree Cottage, a therapeutic residential home for children and young people with complex mental health needs. You will work within an MDT with social care partners and CAMHS to provide crisis containment and supportive care.

Qualifikationen

• Degree, diploma or equivalent in Nursing (Mental Health Nursing).
• Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Understanding of common mental health conditions (e.g., psychosis, mood disorders).
• Awareness of risk assessment principles.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding.

Aufgaben

• Work within an MDT to plan, develop and review a crisis containment and therapeutic support service for children and young people with mental health needs.
• Collaborate with CAMHS, social care and other clinicians to provide holistic care in a residential setting.
• Supervise and develop care plans for CYP with complex needs within Cherry Tree Cottage.
