Job summary

Cambridge Aerospace is seeking an exceptional Head of Risk & Compliance to establish and oversee a robust, organisation-wide compliance and risk framework at a pivotal growth moment. Reporting to VP General Counsel, you will partner with the Senior Leadership Team and Board to embed regulatory requirements into day-to-day operations while enabling compliant growth.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in compliance or regulatory roles, preferably in defence or aerospace.
• Experience leading or scaling compliance functions within complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement at Executive/Board level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the compliance and risk function, providing strategic oversight to specialist teams.
• Develop a company-wide compliance framework aligned with legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Horizon scan regulatory changes and translate into actionable plans.
• Build and scale the function as the company grows, recruiting and developing leaders.
• Oversee budget and operating plan for compliance and risk, including tooling and systems.
