Job summary

Kent County Council is seeking an experienced strategic leader to work alongside the Director of Public Health, strengthen partnerships and translate ambitious plans into measurable improvements in residents' health and wellbeing.

This role leads the Kent Neighbourhood Health Plan, oversees the Integrated Care Strategy delivery, develops the Public Health Strategic Plan, and collaborates across NHS, local authorities and social services to tackle health inequalities.

Qualifications

• MSc or MPH in public health or equivalent.
• Senior-level experience (assistant director or director).
• Experience across NHS, local authorities and social services in a complex public environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the Kent Neighbourhood Health Plan.
• Oversee and support delivery of the Integrated Care Strategy's delivery plan.
• Develop the Public Health Strategic Plan in response to devolution and reorganisation.
• Lead the core offer to the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board.
• Provide strategic oversight of projects with districts and boroughs to improve public health.
