Qualifications

• Experience leading global SaaS engineering organisations through significant transformation.
• Deep expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms and governed AI.
• Experience restructuring engineering teams to balance legacy sustainment with growth.
• Strong track record implementing Agile, Lean and PI planning.
• Practical experience applying AI across software design, development, testing and operations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to operate at executive level while remaining technically credible.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology vision for IDBS’ next-generation agentic workflow and data platform.
• Establish long-term architecture for data, workflows, AI and cloud services.
• Partner with Product and Strategy to translate customer and market needs into a technology roadmap.
• Balance short-term commitments with long-term platform transformation.
• Lead the design and implementation of modern data architecture, governance and interoperability.
• Drive adoption of governed AI ensuring secure, compliant and auditable solutions.
• Establish foundations for scalable AI-enabled products and intelligent automation.
• Act as a thought leader in leveraging AI to accelerate product innovation and engineering productivity.
• Restructure engineering to balance heritage sustainment with strategic innovation.
• Create ownership models across platform engineering, innovation, customer commitments and operations.
• Improve execution with Agile/Lean/PI planning and drive speed to market.
• Drive measurable improvements in engineering productivity and customer value.
