Job summary

The London Borough of Merton is seeking a Chief Planning Officer to lead the Planning service, shaping how the borough grows—from major development and regeneration to improving neighbourhoods and places.

You will supervise around 30 staff across development management, planning policy, and enforcement, advising Members and senior leaders while working with developers, communities and partners to secure infrastructure and community benefits that come with growth.
