Liverpool Cathedral in Liverpool is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to provide senior leadership across strategy, finances, operations, governance and commercial delivery, translating ambitions into clear plans and sustainable results.

You will lead a collaborative, mission-led organisation, strengthening operational effectiveness, safeguarding, culture and financial resilience while working with the Diocese and Cathedral Chapter to deliver shared services and ambitious successor plans.

Formación

• You will have significant senior leadership experience across multiple functions within a complex, mission-led organisation.
• You will translate strategic priorities into practical delivery plans and build capable teams.
• You will demonstrate strong governance, safeguarding and financial oversight.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategy and organisational development with the Dean and Executive Team.
• Provide leadership for governance, risk, compliance and assurance.
• Oversee operations, safeguarding, finance and commercial activity.
• Support financial sustainability, fundraising and partnership with the Diocese.
• Develop partnerships with church, heritage and civic stakeholders.
