Job summary

A not-for-profit healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure effective daily operations and implementation of business strategies laid out by the CEO. The COO will focus on operational execution and assist in achieving the organization's goals. With a workforce of around 300 and a turnover of approximately £16m, this role entails significant leadership and cross-functional collaboration to drive performance and improvement in NHS services.

Job description

The role supports oversight of PML's daily operations working closely with the broader PML Executive to ensure the business runs effectively, efficiently and to contractual and regulatory requirements. In addition, the COO is tasked with implementing the business strategies and plans laid out by the CEO focusing on operational execution in delivering the Annual Plan and achieving PML's goals.

PML is a successful not-for-profit, GP-led organisation providing various NHS community and primary care clinical services to patients across Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. We have evolved as a NHS healthcare provider since 2004 and in the last few years have grown significantly, now employing around 300 staff with a turnover of circa £16m. PML holds GMS contracts, as well as being a GP Federation representing circa 50 GP practices covering approximately 650,000 patients.
