Raydar is seeking a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO on the highest-priority problems as the company scales from 25 to 250 people. The role spans strategy, operations, hiring, metrics, enterprise deals, and cross-functional execution, with daily access to the CEO and founders.

Our client is an early-stage industrial AI company modernizing how experts inspect and maintain critical physical infrastructure. Its platform replaces handwritten field notes and manual reporting with AI-assisted data collection, decision support, and report generation. Founded in 2024, the company has raised $20 million in Series A funding from a leading global venture firm and works with enterprise customers including aerospace, energy, and life-sciences leaders.

The role and why it matters

This Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO on the highest-priority problems constraining the business as it scales from approximately 25 to 250 people. The current Chief of Staff is moving into a senior North America go-to-market role, demonstrating the growth path available in this seat. You will move across strategy, operations, hiring, metrics, enterprise deals, and cross-functional execution, with daily access to the CEO and founders.

What you’ll do

• Identify and solve the most important company bottleneck at any given time, from unblocking enterprise deals to improving engineering allocation.
• Build financial, operational, and go-to-market metrics and reporting across every team.
• Improve hiring systems, reduce time to hire, help attract exceptional talent, and support headcount planning.
• Create repeatable operating processes that support the company’s next stage of growth.
• Represent the CEO in investor updates, senior client meetings, and cross-functional leadership forums.
• Travel to industrial customer sites, including manufacturing facilities and energy infrastructure, for approximately 25% to 50% of your time.

What we’re looking for

• 4 to 8 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or strategy and operations at a Series A to Series D startup.
• Experience at a top strategy firm, leading investment bank, or high-growth technology company, with a clear record of rapid promotion or accelerated career growth.
• A degree from a top university in your country and evidence of exceptional achievement.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working directly with financial and operational data.
• Executive judgment, clear communication, and the ability to challenge senior leaders constructively.
• The stamina and ownership mindset to operate in a demanding, fast-moving environment with extended working hours when required.
• Willingness to work from the Farringdon office in London five days per week and travel substantially.

Bonus points

• Experience as a founder who built meaningful revenue or raised venture funding.
• A technical or quantitative academic background.
• Experience building operating systems for a rapidly scaling company.

Compensation and benefits

• £110K-£165K base salary, approximately $145K-$220K equivalent, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Location and work model

• Full-time and on-site in Farringdon, London.
• Five days per week in the office when not traveling.
