Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is at the core of modern employee management. Our HR platform helps companies worldwide automate, analyze, and enhance every part of the employee journey — from onboarding to performance management. We’re a fast-growing B2B SaaS company operating across the UK, Poland, and Ukraine, trusted by over 1,300 companies in 30+ countries including Deloitte, BMW, and Ajax Systems. With 100,000+ active users and 80% year-over-year growth, we’re now looking for a CFO with proven experience scaling SaaS businesses and driving successful exits or acquisitions.

💼 The Role

This is a hybrid role combining strategic financial leadership and hands‑on operational management. You’ll be responsible for shaping our financial strategy, optimizing multi‑entity accounting and reporting, automating financial processes, and preparing PeopleForce for the next stage of global scaling.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
1. Review & Optimize Financial Processes
  • Conduct a full review of accounting and reporting processes across the UK, Poland, and Ukraine.
  • Identify blockers or inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
  • Implement unified accounting policies and ensure reporting consistency.
2. Financial Automation
  • Identify and automate manual workflows in billing, AR/AP, and multi‑currency reporting.
  • Enhance and optimize existing financial automation systems in QuickBooks, ensuring seamless integrations with Stripe, HRM, and other platforms to further increase accuracy and efficiency.
3. Consolidated Reporting
  • Build a clear, transparent model for multi‑entity consolidated reporting.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and actionable financial analytics for leadership.
4. Financial Modeling & Forecasting
  • Review and enhance the company’s financial model (revenue, CAC, LTV, MRR, ARR).
  • Implement improvements for scenario planning and strategic forecasting.
  • Develop automated cash flow projections and dashboards.
5. Team & Partner Management
  • Lead and coordinate the internal finance team and external accounting partners across jurisdictions.
  • Ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance in reporting.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, legal, and banking partners.
6. Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Provide strategic guidance aligned with SaaS financial best practices and metrics.
  • Support fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence readiness.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team (CEO, COO, CPO) on financial strategy and long‑term business planning.
🧩 Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in CFO roles in SaaS.
  • Proven track record of leading or supporting successful exits, acquisitions, or fundraising rounds within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, Churn, Gross Margin).
  • Strong experience with multi‑entity operations and cross‑border accounting/reporting.
  • Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero, and knowledge of Stripe and automation tools.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling skills — ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing in‑house and outsourced teams.
  • Fluent English (Polish or Ukrainian is a plus).
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA or CPA preferred).
🌐 Working Conditions
  • Type: full‑time.
  • Location: Fully remote, ideally within European time zones (GMT+3 ±1).
  • Flexibility: Work hours aligned with key business processes and leadership meetings.
🚀 Why Join PeopleForce
  • Join a fast‑growing, globally expanding SaaS company redefining the HR Tech industry.
