As Company Secretary, you will ensure regulatory compliance, effective decision-making and value for money across our schools, while leading a professional finance team.
We are looking for an outstanding Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that every financial decision supports better outcomes for children and young people. This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic financial leadership, corporate governance and executive influence within a values-driven Catholic organisation. This is particularly exciting as we are preparing to merge with a sister Trust of Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Multi Academy Trust.
As CFO, you will be the Trust's most senior financial professional, working closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees and school leaders to deliver long-term financial sustainability, support growth opportunities and ensure the highest standards of stewardship, accountability and value for money.
As Company Secretary, you will act as a trusted adviser to the Board, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance and effective decision-making across the Trust.
This is far more than a traditional finance role.
You will:
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with significant senior leadership experience and a proven track record of strategic financial management, governance and organisational leadership. You will be comfortable advising boards, influencing stakeholders and translating complex financial information into clear strategic insight.
Membership of the generous Local Government Pension Scheme;
Flexible and hybrid working arrangements;
A 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme;
Ongoing professional development and opportunities to further develop your expertise;
A professional, supportive and collaborative central team;
A commitment to staff wellbeing, as set out in our Staff Charter.
A relocation package is available for successful candidates who currently live outside of East Anglia.
If you are looking for a role where your expertise will shape strategy, strengthen governance and directly support the success of schools and pupils, we would love to hear from you.
