Job summary

Camino Search is retained to appoint a CFO for a private equity backed software group entering its next phase of growth. The business has grown quickly through acquisition and is now profitable, recurring and serving enterprise customers internationally.

The next stage is about scale: more acquisitions, stronger organic growth and a bigger presence in North America. The finance function needs to grow with it.

Qualifications

• CFO experience in a multi-entity, PE-backed software business.
• Hands-on experience integrating acquired businesses.
• Strong command of SaaS metrics.
• Ideally experience supporting or leading through an exit or refinancing.
• Comfortable in the detail with a lean team.

Responsibilities

• Build group finance structure across operating businesses.
• Create a repeatable integration approach for acquisitions.
• Oversee treasury and cash management across entities/geographies.
• Lead billing, revenue recognition and collections.
• Develop a modern finance stack with AI adoption.
• Manage lender and investor relationships, covenants and board reporting.
• Ensure tax and multi-jurisdiction compliance.
• Readiness for a future capital event.

Camino Search has been retained to appoint a CFO for a private equity backed software group entering its next phase of growth.

The business has grown quickly through acquisition and is now profitable, recurring and serving enterprise customers internationally. The next stage is about scale: more acquisitions, stronger organic growth and a bigger presence in North America.

The finance function needs to grow with it. This is a hire for someone who wants to build rather than inherit.
