An educational institution in Bishop's Cleeve is seeking a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy in alignment with its ambitious '2030 Vision & Strategy'. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Executive Head and Trustees, ensuring financial performance, compliance, and value-for-money. We are seeking an outstanding candidate who will work closely with the Executive Head and Trustees, to help drive forward the school into being a truly exceptional place to learn and work, and a beacon of light for its thriving community.
We are at an exciting time in our development and this role will play a significant part within this and the delivery of our ambitious '2030 Vision & Strategy'.
The role covers a range of important financial areas, particularly linked to the school's financial performance, compliance and ability to ensure value-for-money from its resources and pursue other opportunities for generating income streams, including via the school's 'Enterprise' subsidiary.
You will fulfil the strategically important role of 'Chief Finance Officer' as set out in the 'Academies Trust Handbook'.
We are flexible with regards to the contract type so could, for example, accommodate part-time and/ or someone who would prefer mostly term-time only.
More than anything, we are after a successful candidate who has a 'can-do' approach and will bring accuracy and creativity, and who will work closely with the Executive Head to ensure excellent financial leadership, enabling an exceptional school for its stakeholders.
