Job Overview

Ramsay Health Care is seeking an accomplished executive to lead as Chief Executive Officer of Dudley Private and Ramsay Surgical Centre in Orange; a leading private health service over two locations in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. The CEO will drive the hospital's strategic direction, operational performance and stakeholder relationships. This pivotal role requires strong commercial acumen, extensive healthcare experience and a collaborative leadership style. Reporting to the NSW State Operations Manager and supported by the Director of Clinical Services and Director of Finance, you will inspire teams to deliver outstanding patient care and customer service while guiding the organisation through key strategic initiatives.

Facilities

Dudley Private Hospital with 62 beds, offers a wide range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation and psychiatric services, supported by four Operating Theatres, including a Cath Lab. Alongside general medical and surgical beds, it includes 27 licensed rehabilitation beds and a 15-bed mental health unit. Recognised for its steadfast commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction and quality improvement, Dudley Private Hospital holds a distinguished reputation within the community.

Ramsay Surgical Centre Orange, formerly Orange Private Hospital, offers short-stay hospital services for patients undergoing treatments that do not require an overnight stay. Situated on level 4 of the Bloomfield Medical Centre building, the site features operating theatres, recovery areas, a central sterile supply department and a pre‑admission area.

  • Extensive experience in senior management or executive hospital leadership.
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional business development, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving quality improvement and leading organisational change.
  • Advanced expertise in financial management and performance oversight.
  • Strong track record in team building, talent development and fostering high‑performance cultures.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Health, Business or Management, complemented by relevant postgraduate studies.
  • Extensive experience leading healthcare operations within a commercial environment, with a proven record in strategic planning, change management, and financial performance oversight.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a thorough understanding of healthcare funding models and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership, a collaborative style, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic, service‑focused environment.
