A leading community pharmacy organization is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and support to pharmacy contractors. We are recruiting a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide our LPC through an important period of change and to support Pharmacy Contractors and teams building on the strong local relationships developed over the years.
Community Pharmacy Cambridgeshire & Peterborough represents 140 pharmacies and is currently aligned with the ICB boundary. From April 2026 Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB will merge to form the Central East ICB which will cover, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire.
This part-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary and hybrid working arrangements. Candidates must be a registered pharmacist, have strong community pharmacy and NHS knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and resilience. We are looking for an energetic, collaborative, influential senior leader with relevant expertise and experience.
Job Details: Chief Executive Officer Community Pharmacy Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. Reporting to the LPC Chair and line managing the small, employed team.
Hours: Permanent, 20 hours worked flexibly across Monday – Friday to suit the needs of CPC&P
Additionally, this may include supporting evening training or weekend events to meet business needs.
Commencement date: Ideally April 2026 but can be flexible to suit the right candidate.
Location: Hybrid working from home and LPC Office (Peterborough). Travel will be required to support training events, meetings and visits to pharmacies (a driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is required).
