Job summary

The Basildon Academies invites applications for a Chief Executive Officer and Accounting Officer to provide inspirational leadership across its Lower and Upper Academies, setting strategic direction and ensuring high standards of educational performance.

You will lead the Executive Team, work with Trustees, staff, students and families to deliver excellence, and drive sustainable improvement with strong governance and financial stewardship.

• Proven record of senior leadership within education
• Relentless commitment to improving outcomes and inclusion
• Experience in strategic planning and organisational growth
• Experience developing strategic partnerships and collaborations
• Strong system leadership beyond own organisation
• Understanding of safeguarding and removing barriers to achievement
• Ability to lead and inspire a large workforce with wellbeing in mind
• Experience in financial, operational and governance oversight
• Ability to build relationships at local to national levels
• Vision and influence to position the Trust for future success
