A new luxury hotel in Manchester is seeking a proactive Chief Engineer to oversee property systems and health and safety. You will lead the maintenance team to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Ideal candidates have experience in upscale hotels and possess strong leadership skills. This role offers a dynamic work environment with varied shifts and responsibilities.

This brand-new 401‑key hotel is set to be a game‑changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.
The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state‑of‑the‑art training facilities, a world‑class 60,000‑seat stadium and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co‑op Live arena.
It will become a world‑class hub for elite sport, music and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.
The new hotel will be at the centre of this dynamic environment, providing an exceptional place for guests, teams and fans to stay and experience everything the campus has to offer.
You’ll be the leader of the Hotel Maintenance Team, supporting the General Manager to create an exceptional experience for guests and our team members, from external surroundings, general public areas to individual guest bedrooms.
You’ll balance planned project work, audit performance and reactive tasks to steer the maintenance team to create an exceptional hotel environment.
We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need maintenance coverage that matches this.
Our maintenance team works a range of shifts and days – this means great flexibility if required.
Shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
