Chief Engineer | East of England | Up to £85k basic, plus benefits

Are you an experienced FMCG Engineering Manager / Chief Engineer looking for a very exciting new challenge? Our East Anglian based client is a rapidly growing FMCG manufacturer going through an exceptional period of growth and investment. There simply isn’t a better time to join.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse maintenance function, planning and delegating workloads, and writing and maintaining PPM / CMMS.
• Performance management and budgetary control with the aim of ensuring your team works happily, efficiently and effectively.
• Drive ongoing improvements and manage project work as investment and installations occur across the site.
• Take full control of the engineering budget, including P&L responsibility.
• Work closely with other Senior Managers on site to ensure the engineering strategy is aligned with site-wide goals and success.
• Foster a genuine team-based culture and ensure cultural fit within a close-knit site.

Qualifications

• FMCG experience is key, with a proven background in this sector as a Senior Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering / Chief Engineer.
• Demonstrable experience in managing maintenance, projects, and engineering budgets in a fast-moving environment.
• Location: East of England; willing to be part of a rapidly growing food manufacturer undergoing substantial investment.
