Job summary

CFO Insights seeks a Chief Editor to lead its magazines from our London HQ. You will own content strategy, oversee research, interviews and the full editorial process, and collaborate closely with the CEO. The role offers a fast-paced scale-up environment with tangible business impact and growth opportunities.

We value exceptional writing, editing, and attention to detail, plus 5+ years in a magazine or media setting and a UK work permit. Office-based in London, no remote work available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or related field
• +5 years of work experience with outstanding performance from a magazine or media company
• UK work permit required
• Outstanding writing, editing and creative skills essential
• Exceptional attention to detail and well-organised, able to structure and prioritise work

Responsibilities

• Research industry topics and ideas for stories and articles

• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for magazines

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibility will be to build the greatest physical magazine which entails that you:

• Thoroughly research industry-related topics and ideas for stories and articles
• Interview relevant people
• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for our magazines
• Construct the magazines including photos, design and artwork (with help from our Graphic Designer)

• Possess an exceptional attention to detail
• Are well-organised and able to structure and prioritise your work
