Job summary

Saxon Weald seeks an experienced Executive Director of Assets and Development to shape its long-term approach to asset management, safety and sustainability. You will lead a broad portfolio strategy for ~7,000 homes across Sussex and Hampshire, reporting to the Chief Executive and joining the Executive Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Experience across asset management and property safety within housing.
• Executive or senior strategic leadership reporting to Boards or Committees.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for social housing and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management strategy and long-term investment plans.
• Ensure homes meet safety, regulatory, and Decent Homes standards.
• Oversee data strategy, disposal, land management and portfolio optimisation.
• Provide strategic leadership across development and redevelopment initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders and partners to deliver value for money and customer outcomes.
