Qualifications

Cherry Picker Driver (IPAF / CPCS)

£23.00 per hour | 1 Week Contract | Start Date: 12th October 2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cherry Picker Driver / MEWP Operator to join a site in Congleton (CW12) on behalf of a reputable construction contractor. This is a short-term contract offering a competitive hourly rate and immediate start.

The Role

As a Cherry Picker Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a cherry picker (MEWP) and supporting site activities as directed by the site management team.

Duties Include

• Operating a Cherry Picker / MEWP safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily machine checks
• Working closely with site teams to support ongoing construction works
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures
• Reporting any defects or safety concerns to site management
• Assisting with general site duties when required

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid IPAF Operator Licence and/or CPCS/NPORS Card for relevant access equipment
• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous experience operating Cherry Pickers on construction sitesli>
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual attitude
