Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurse – 37.5hrs, permanent. Monday – Saturday working 4 days
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust provides highly specialist cancer care for a population of 2.4 million people across Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire.
In June 2020, we opened Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Liverpool, our spectacular new cancer hospital in the heart of Liverpool's Knowledge Quarter as part of a £162m investment. Alongside our flagship hospital in Liverpool, we also have two other main cancer centres: Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Wirral (outpatient treatment), Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Aintree (radiotherapy).
Together, working across three sites and operating specialist chemotherapy clinics in four of Merseyside's district hospitals, we deliver a comprehensive range of inpatient care, advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other systemic anti‑cancer therapies including gene therapies and immunotherapies.
We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 nurse to work at our CCC – Liverpool site in the Chemotherapy Treatment Unit.
As we deliver treatments in sector hubs and clinics across the Wirral and Liverpool, there will be an element of cross cover required during training and once training has been completed. This will include travelling to all of our peripheral sites.
We're here to deliver the best cancer care to the people we serve and we’re looking for applications from those who share that commitment and our values: Putting people first; Achieving excellence; Passionate about what we do; Always improving our care; and Looking to the future.
We also deliver a pioneering Treatment at Home and Work service, are the only facility in the UK providing low‑energy proton beam therapy to treat rare eye cancers, and host the region's Teenage and Young Adult Unit.
If you are interested in joining our Team and supporting the Trust with our vision to provide the best cancer care, please apply online.
