Job summary

Aspire People is seeking qualified Chemistry Teachers for secondary teaching opportunities across East Birmingham. Roles include daily supply, short-term cover, long-term assignments and permanent opportunities in schools across Bordesley Green, Small Heath, Alum Rock, Washwood Heath, Stechford and surrounding areas.

We require QTS or QTLS, strong Chemistry knowledge and excellent classroom management to teach across the secondary age range.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chemistry Teacher with QTS or QTLS.
• Experience delivering KS3/KS4/GCSE and A Level Chemistry where appropriate.
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons across KS3–KS5 as appropriate.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in planning, marking and assessment during longer placements.
