A leading manufacturer in chemical products is seeking a Chemist to innovate and develop high-performance antifoaming agents in Lancashire. This entry-level position involves product development collaboration, research, and enhancement of existing formulations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and demonstrate strong IT skills. Working hours are from 08:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 08:00am to 3:00pm on Friday.

  • Experience in the pulp and paper industry would be advantageous.

CK Group are recruiting for a Chemist to join a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance antifoaming agents. This is a permanent role which would suit someone looking for an entry level position into industry.

The hours are 08:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 08:00am to 3:00pm Friday.

The Company: Our client is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance antifoaming agents.

Location: The Product Development Manager role will be based at the company's site in Lancashire, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with in-house chemists to develop and trial innovative products.

  • Enhance existing products for performance and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Driving license.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, internal and external.
  • Proficient in IT and lab software.
