Job summary

HR GO Group is recruiting for a Head of Regulatory Compliance & Site Director in Liverpool. You will lead regulatory strategy, product stewardship and site operations across our chemical distribution business, reporting to the COO.

The role requires a strong background in chemical regulatory affairs, hands-on leadership of SHEQ and operations, and the ability to manage risk, budgets and relationships with senior stakeholders. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in chemical regulatory affairs or related field.
• Proven leadership within chemical manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU REACH, CLP, GHS, ADR and environmental rules.
• Experience managing site operations, HSEQ standards and regulatory risk.
• Stakeholder management at senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regulatory strategy across UK/EU regulatory frameworks (REACH, CLP, GHS, ADR).
• Oversee SDS, product classification, labelling and hazard communication.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on the business.
• Provide senior leadership across warehouse, distribution and site operations.
• Oversee budgets, maintenance, contractor compliance and risk management.
