Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Market Bosworth is seeking a Production Operative to carry out the decontamination and chemical processing of components in a busy manufacturing environment. No prior experience required, making this a great learning opportunity.

You will work 37 hours per week, with a Friday finish, and join a supportive team focused on safety and continuous improvement. The role involves handling chemicals, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to audits and documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the chemical processing and decontamination of components.
• Handling and storing chemicals safely in accordance with company procedures.
• Undertaking manual inspection duties using standard equipment.
• Supporting the smooth flow of work through the department.
• Working closely with production, quality and engineering teams.
• Assisting with internal and external audits.
• Identifying and reporting issues with production documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Carrying out facilities checks and supporting general operational tasks.
• Assisting with team training and process improvements where required.
• Additional hours may occasionally be required to meet operational or customer requirements.
