About the Role

Bespak is looking for an onsite Chemical Process Engineer on a 12‑month fixed term contract at our Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this permanent onsite role is between £50k and £54k, which includes shift allowances. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical/dental/life assurance.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with an 8:30 am to 3:45 pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

Responsibilities
  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot production processes for pMDI (asthma inhaler type) devices, ensuring efficiency and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to scale up new products, implement technology transfers, and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and EMA standards; participate in validation activities and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Qualifications
  • Qualified in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
