Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. is recruiting for a Chemical Laboratory Specialist to join a defence and aerospace partner in Broughton on a 12-month contract. The role offers a starting rate of £39.45 per hour inside IR35, with shift uplift for early mornings and late shifts.

The successful candidate will perform chemical analyses using IC, ICP-OES, XRF, FTIR and titrations, lead trials, maintain equipment, and document results for engineering teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with chemical analysis.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards (ASTM/ISO).
• Experience with reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis of surface treatments and fluids.
• Lead trials for new products before shop-floor use.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment.
• Prepare samples and perform IC, ICP, XRF, FTIR, and titration analyses.
• Document results and generate technical reports.
