Job summary

A leading independent global manufacturer in Renfrew, Scotland is seeking graduates for their engineering program. This program involves eight 3-month placements in key areas, enabling candidates to develop essential skills and knowledge. Candidates should hold an MEng or BEng (Hons) in Chemical/Process Engineering and demonstrate a capacity for autonomous work and collaboration. The program offers extensive mentoring and the chance to contribute to cutting-edge engineering projects.

The Training

Our Graduate Programme follows the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) competencies and during the first two years of the programme you will develop your knowledge and skills in different areas of the business through 8 x 3 month placements in core areas such as: design, research, contract engineering, project management, manufacturing, and field services; ensuring that you gain the knowledge, experience and skills required to reach Chartered status by IChemE. After your first two years in the programme you will move to a permanent role whilst continuing to receive mentoring from some of our most experienced and accredited leaders.

Whilst you will be based in our Renfrew location, you will be part of our global team working on projects around the globe. Our UK program also offers the opportunity to be part of our graduate led European network for engineering graduates.

What do you bring?

To be considered for our graduate scheme you should hold either an MEng or BEng (Hons) degree in a Chemical/Process Engineering Discipline.

In addition to your qualification, we encourage applications from individuals who can operate autonomously, taking responsibility at early stages as well as being effective within diverse team situations.
