Job summary

Jockey Club Experiences Northwest is hiring Chefs of all levels for flexible casual work across Aintree, Haydock Park, and Carlisle Racecourses. You’ll join a talented kitchen team delivering exceptional hospitality on race days, conferences, weddings, and major events.

Opportunities to develop your skills, travel between sites, and work across diverse catering environments await. Roles range from Commis Chef to Lead Chef, with shifts designed to fit availability and career goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional chef qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, SVQ or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
• Applications are welcomed from chefs at all stages of their career.
• Previous experience within hospitality, hotels, restaurants, events, contract catering, banqueting, or large-scale catering environments would be beneficial.
• A Food Safety qualification is desirable, although training can be provided where required.

Travel

A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred but not essential.

As shifts are available across multiple venues within the Northwest region, the ability to travel between sites can be advantageous. However, we also welcome applications from candidates who can reliably travel to their preferred venue.
