Head Chefs / Chef Managers – School Catering (Enhanced DBS Required)

• Location : Across the West Midlands
• Company : Berkeley Scott
• Pay Rate : From £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Hours : Monday to Friday (daytime hours)

Berkeley Scott is recruiting experienced Head Chefs and Chef Managers to cover ongoing temporary assignments within schools across the West Midlands.

We’re looking for professional, motivated chefs who can lead a small kitchen team, deliver high-quality, nutritious meals, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS certificate (essential)
• Level 2 Food Safety and Food Allergy Awareness certificates
• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager, or Cook Supervisor, ideally in school or contract catering
• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
• Access to your own vehicle is an advantage
