Are you an experienced culinary professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic and rewarding environment? We're looking for a talented Chef Manager to oversee our catering operations at Dale Acre Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape menus, lead a team, and make a real impact in a term‑time only role.

Responsibilities
  • Taking full responsibility for food production and introducing innovative menu options.
  • Designing balanced daily menus that meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborating with the Regional Manager to exceed client and customer requirements.
  • Managing all aspects of the catering operation, including financial performance (sales, GP, labour, and overheads).
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and HACCP standards.
  • Leading, developing, and motivating the catering team.
  • Meeting with clients and adapting services to meet evolving needs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar food service management role.
  • A creative and detail‑oriented approach to menu planning.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. HACCP, Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery).
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and a proactive, innovative mindset.
  • Full DBS required (provided during onboarding).
  • Driving licence required.
