Job summary

BaxterStorey in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef Manager to support our kitchen operation, helping the Head Chef elevate the food offering and reporting to the General Manager. You will contribute to due diligence, quality controls, and day-to-day tasks in a large, fast-paced environment.

You will lead kitchen teams across sites, ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene, manage stock and budgets, train staff, and work with front-of-house to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Up-to-date Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certifications.
• Flexibility to travel and adapt to new kitchen environments.
• Valid UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen teams across different sites, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations, stepping in during absence or peak periods.
• Manage stock, orders, and kitchen budgets efficiently.
• Train and support kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence.
• Support Head Chef to elevate the food offering and report to General Manager.
• Work closely with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
