Job summary

A catering services company in Basingstoke is looking for a Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations, plan and prepare meals, and ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene. The role requires previous experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef and strong leadership abilities. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekends offered. This is an interim/fixed-term contract position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef.
• Enhanced DBS (can start on risk assessment while DBS is processed).
• Daytime hours only - no evenings or weekends.

• Lead a team of 3: 1 kitchen assistant and 2 catering assistants.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and allergen compliance.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and stock control.
• Meet dietary and nutritional needs.
