Aspens Services Ltd. is seeking a Chef Manager in Backwell, United Kingdom, to take full operational and financial responsibility for the school catering facility.

You will lead the kitchen team, drive menu development, and promote sales through monthly promotions while ensuring quality and safety standards. This permanent role offers a balanced work week (35 hours) during term time, with attractive development opportunities via an in-house Learning & Development team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Gross Profit (GP) management and ability to hit sales targets.
• Excellent craft skills using fresh ingredients to deliver high-quality food.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control: Manage and improve controllable costs (stock, food, labour).
