Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd are seeking a Chef Manager for our site in Arlesey SG15. The role offers 37k per year, 40 hours per week, and term-time only hours, with no late nights and weekends off.

You will lead the kitchen, manage a team, and oversee quality, costs and compliance to deliver nutritious meals for students. You will bring strong culinary craft and leadership, with a passion for high standards, creativity, and great service in a school environment.

As our ideal Chef Manager you will:

• Have excellent craft skills and the ability to manage your own kitchen
• Have proven experience of managing, training and leading a team
• Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
• Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail
• Have creativity in developing themed days and pop ups, as well as high-end hospitality and large events
• Have financial and budget awareness, and proven experience in controlling food costs.
• Solid understanding of food safety, health & safety, and allergen management
• The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
