Job summary

McMullen’s is recruiting a Chef for our Chicken & Grill pubs in Greater London. You will prepare and serve our menu to a high standard, focusing on rotisserie chicken, chargrilled meats and pub classics.

We offer a competitive salary, a structured bonus scheme, shift flexibility and weekly pay. Live-in accommodation is available if required, along with training through McMullen’s GROW Programme to help you progress within the business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen is essential.
• In-house training and development available in the Development Kitchen in Hertford.

• Preparing and serving the menu to a high standard as per company specification to ensure our guests return again and again
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completion of company paperwork with regards to such standards
• Receiving deliveries and maintaining the correct storage of food
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Key Responsibilities of a Chef

The right person will have a positive hands on approach, good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Previous experience of working within a busy kitchen is essential however further training and development will be given in house and in our Development Kitchen in Hertford.

£12.90 per hour, live in reduction £1.72 per hour
