🍴 Chef Lecturer - Further Education and Training College, Peterborough

Location: Peterborough
Hours: Monday to Friday - Full Time
Contract: 12 Weeks (with potential extension)

About the Role:

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading Further Education and Training College in Peterborough for a Chef Lecturer to join their dedicated catering and hospitality department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified chef with a passion for teaching and developing the next generation of culinary professionals. You will deliver engaging, high-quality practical and theory lessons, assess student work and guide learners to achieve their full potential.

Key Duties of a Chef Lecturer:

• Deliver practical and classroom-based teaching across a range of professional cookery and hospitality qualifications.
• Plan, prepare and assess learners' work in line with awarding body standards.
• Guide and motivate learners to achieve their qualifications.
• Ensure a safe, professional and inspiring learning environment.
• Work closely with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements for a Chef Lecturer:
✅ Recognised Assessor qualification (essential)
✅ Chef-trained background with relevant industry experience
✅ Teaching qualification (desirable, but not essential)
✅ Strong communication and organisational skills
✅ Commitment to learner success and development
