About The Role:

As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for your own section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, supporting them in the smooth running of service and maintaining consistency across the menu. This is a hands‑on role for someone with passion, discipline, and a genuine love of food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and run your own section (e.g. grill, larder, garnish, or pastry) during service.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the required standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Assist with menu development and specials by contributing ideas.
  • Monitor stock levels for your section, reporting shortages and helping with ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
  • Train and support commis chefs and junior members of the team.
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the brigade to deliver a smooth, efficient service.
About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
  • Experience in a fast paced, fresh food led gastro pub
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to learning and development.
  • Because of the rural nature of the sites, your own transport is essential.
