Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in a quality restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • A passion for fresh, local, and seasonal produce.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a small, close-knit team.
  • Right to work in the UK (proof required).
  • Basic Disclosure Certificate (cost will be refunded).

Chef de Partie / Sous Chef – Luxury Rosette Restaurant, Islay

Location: Islay, Inner Hebrides
Contract: Immediate start – until 6th January
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days from 7
Pay: £18.25 per hour
Accommodation: Available (£200 per month)

The Role

We are seeking a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our small, dedicated brigade of four chefs within a luxury 12-bedroom property on Islay. You’ll play an important role in delivering consistently high-quality dishes and maintaining our Rosette-level culinary standards. This is a hands-on position, ideal for a passionate chef looking to work with premium ingredients in a professional yet supportive environment.

Main Duties
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to Rosette standard.
  • Work efficiently within a small team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
