Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd is seeking a Chef to join our Oxford B&I catering team, delivering breakfast, lunch, and hospitality with fresh ingredients and daily changing menus. You will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Good verbal English and strong written English with reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
• Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following brand standards.
• Ensure food hygiene and health & safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus.
• Show genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.
• Be an organised chef with attention to detail and understand food cost and wastage.

• Knowledge / competencies:


• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.

• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
  A stunning B&I location in Oxford for a multinational software services company. Catering for approximately 100 people daily. We offer breakfast, lunch, grab and go selection and some hospitality daily.
