Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead your kitchen section with precision, creativity, and consistency.
  • Ensure the section is well‑prepared, organised, and operating to the highest standard.
  • Prepare and present dishes with consistent flavour, texture, and presentation for an exceptional guest dining experience.
  • Support and guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
  • Uphold rigorous food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and company policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment and workstations, ensuring smooth service across all meal periods.
  • Contribute ideas to menu development, seasonal specials, and unique culinary experiences that reflect our brand’s identity.
About You
  • Proven experience in hotel culinary operations, able to manage and lead a section independently.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and HACCP compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to support and inspire junior team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, multi‑outlet environment.
Experience Preferred
  • Previous experience in a Chef de Partie role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Exposure to London‑based hotels, with knowledge of UK hospitality standards, local compliance (e.g., Food Hygiene Rating Scheme), and service expectations for international guests.
  • Level 2 or higher food safety certification, with strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
