We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join a high-performing kitchen team within a premium countryside hospitality destination. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef to contribute to exceptional dining experiences while supporting culinary operations, menu development, and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations & Team Support
- Prepare and cook dishes to consistently high standards
- Support and guide junior chefs during service
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings and team communication
- Help uphold a positive, collaborative, and quality-driven kitchen culture
Menu & Culinary Contribution
- Assist in the creation of innovative, seasonal dishes
- Maintain strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety
- Support accurate recipe execution and portion consistency
- Contribute ideas that reflect the venue’s connection to the land and produce
Operational Standards
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all dishes
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workstation readiness
- Follow established SOPs to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Support daily and weekly cleaning routines
- Maintain kitchen practices in line with regulatory guidelines
Team Development
- Collaborate closely with peers to share knowledge and support learning
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Participate in a culture of growth, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Performance Indicators
- Quality and consistency of dishes produced

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie or strong Commis role
- Strong culinary technique and understanding of food safety
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for high-quality, seasonal food
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
