Sous Chef – Leighton House, Westbury

What We Offer

• 37.5 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)
• Shift pattern
  • Early shift – 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Late shift – 11:30 am to 7:30 pm

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve delicious, high‑quality meals
• Support the Head Chef with daily operations and menu planning
• Contribute creative ideas for new menus and dishes
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
• Monitor stock levels and ensure smooth service across both messes
• Provide guidance and motivation to junior team members

• Computer literate with good organisational skills
• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role (Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie)
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Food Hygiene Certificate
