Role: Chef de Partie

Location: Devon

Salary / Rate of pay: from £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a luxury hotel on the Devon coast and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie - preferably with fine-dining experience - to join the team, producing high-quality, fine-dining dishes for restaurant guests.

Our client is a luxury hotel in Devon, in a very unique location. This beautiful property has a fantastic reputation, breathtaking views and is steeped in history and stories. Serving award-winning food where ingredients are all sourced locally in Devon, guests are spoilt for choice with 2 fine dining restaurants on site; a formal restaurant or a more relaxed seafood restaurant. The kitchen team here are working to a 2-3 Rosette standard and have a real passion and drive to serve the best, fine dining food around. Our client is therefore looking for a like-minded individual who is a people person and a team player, to help take the team and the hotel further!

What’s involved?

As a Chef de Partie with previous fine dining experience, you will work as part of a team under the direction of the Executive Chef. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting spectacular, fine dining dishes using fresh, high-quality, locally sourced ingredients for 2 fine dining restaurants. You will have a keen eye for detail in the food you're creating and will be able to keep calm under pressure. You will help to manage and train any junior members of staff working with you whilst ensuring that both yourself and your team members have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety at all times. Previous fine dining experience would be preferred for this role as well as a background of preparing and cooking high quality fresh ingredients.

Please note: due to the remote location, this role may be more suited to someone with their own transport, as public transport in the area is limited.
