Job summary

The Golden Heart, part of Mitchells & Butler’s family, is seeking a Part Time Chef De Partie who is passionate about great food and training people. You will run a kitchen section, mentor Chefs and ensure the team works as one, while maintaining high standards and preparing for service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to mentor junior kitchen staff and run a section.
• Strong knowledge of menu and cooking to spec.

Responsibilities

• Run a kitchen section and oversee team collaboration.
• Prepare all ingredients and mise-en-place before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Cook to menu specifications and know the dishes inside out.
• Mentor and train junior chefs and kitchen staff.
