About the Role

Essendon Golf Club is seeking a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join our small, friendly team of four chefs — making you the fifth member of a close-knit, professional kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen who is looking to grow and develop within a supportive, well-established venue.

You’ll play a key role in preparing quality dishes for our members, guests, and large functions — from casual dining and buffets to three-course event meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard across all menus.
  • Assist with service for large functions, buffets, and events.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations.
  • Work efficiently under pressure and within a fast-paced environment.
  • Take responsibility for your section, ensuring organisation and accuracy.
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and specials.
