Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to hotel brand standards across restaurant, bar, and banqueting operations.
- Managing mise-en-place and ensuring your section runs efficiently during busy afternoon and evening services.
- Supporting senior chefs and working alongside a dynamic team of Chefs-de-Partie and Commis Chefs.
- Maintaining the highest levels of food quality, consistency and presentation.
- Monitoring food safety, storage, temperature control, HACCP and allergen compliance.
- Training and mentoring junior chefs within your section.
- Managing portion control, stock rotation and minimising waste.
- Assisting with menu planning and daily specials when required.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Chef-de-Partie or strong Demi Chef-de-Partie within a quality hotel, restaurant or banqueting venue.
- Ability to manage your own section under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong organisational skills and a passion for high standards.
- Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends, on a rotating schedule.
- Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and excellent food safety awareness.
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic.
- Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in professional kitchens.
