Responsibilities
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to hotel brand standards across restaurant, bar, and banqueting operations.
  • Managing mise-en-place and ensuring your section runs efficiently during busy afternoon and evening services.
  • Supporting senior chefs and working alongside a dynamic team of Chefs-de-Partie and Commis Chefs.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of food quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Monitoring food safety, storage, temperature control, HACCP and allergen compliance.
  • Training and mentoring junior chefs within your section.
  • Managing portion control, stock rotation and minimising waste.
  • Assisting with menu planning and daily specials when required.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Chef-de-Partie or strong Demi Chef-de-Partie within a quality hotel, restaurant or banqueting venue.
  • Ability to manage your own section under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong organisational skills and a passion for high standards.
  • Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends, on a rotating schedule.
  • Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and excellent food safety awareness.
  • A positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic.
  • Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in professional kitchens.
