De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy hotel kitchen. You will own your station, prepare and present dishes across breakfast, conferences, weddings and events, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

You will support junior chefs and work evenings and weekends. We offer £16.44 per hour, service charge, free meals on duty, and opportunities for progression through apprenticeships and study support.

Qualifikationen

We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade at De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham.

As a Chef de Partie with De Vere you’ll work as part of a busy brigade preparing and delivering food across a variety of dining experiences. From breakfast and conference lunches to restaurant and bar menus, weddings and special events, there’ll be plenty of variety in your day.

You’ll take ownership of your section, preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard while making sure service runs smoothly. You’ll also support our Commis and Demi Chefs, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop their skills and confidence.

Working closely with the rest of the brigade, you’ll make sure your section is organised and ready for service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety.

Thsi will be working variety of shifts including evenings and weekends on on rota basis.

• You’ll have previous experience as a Chef within a busy kitchen environment.
• You’ll be confident running your own section and delivering consistently high standards during service.
• You’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in the food you prepare and present.
• You’ll enjoy being part of a brigade and supporting less experienced chefs to develop.
• You’ll be organised and able to work calmly and efficiently when service gets busy.
